Smoky Guacamole

Ingredients

2 large ripe avocados
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Kosher salt

Preparation

  1. Peel and pit the avocados, and place them in a medium bowl. Add the onion, chipotle pepper, lime juice, and cilantro, and mash together with a fork until combined but still chunky. Season to taste with salt.
