Pink Ranch Dressing

The dusky flavor of smoked paprika makes quite an impact on the usual creamy ranch. We either make this from scratch or just sprinkle the paprika into bottled ranch. A little smoked paprika is also a nice addition to any basic vinaigrette.

Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 garlic clove, mashed into a paste
2 tablespoons chopped mixed fresh herbs of your choice—chives, parsley, cilantro, thyme, oregano (or 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Kosher salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. COMBINE all the ingredients in a small bowl. Serve over the Detailed Salad.
