Garlic Shrimp

This easy and show-stopping dish has a little zip to it and will add life to the party. If you don’t like spicy food, you can cut down on the red pepper. Ingredients

4 garlic cloves
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 pound medium, peeled and deveined raw shrimp
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Peel the garlic, finely chop, and place in a large sauté pan with the oil and red pepper flakes. Cook over medium-high heat for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and lemon juice and cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and curl slightly. Place the shrimp on a plate and serve immediately with toothpicks on the side.
