2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 lb green cabbage, cored and thinly sliced (6 cups)
1 carrot, shredded
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion

Preparation
